  • Village of Roscoe

    The Village of Roscoe, Illinois was initially settled in the 1830’s, with Robert J. Cross establishing the first permanent homestead in 1835. It was officially incorporated as a village in 1965. The name Roscoe comes from Roscoe Township. The village experienced a significant economic boost with the construction of the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad branch in the 1850’s. In the modern era, Roscoe continues to experience significant growth and is known as an area “Growing With Pride”.
